Private Crypto Party Create (Members Only): Host invite-only meetups, rooms, and events inside Altcoin.news. Control visibility , manage RSVPs, limit seats, and keep details private — no spam, no public listings.
Private Party Create lets members host invite-only events inside Altcoin.news — think meetups, watch parties, deal rooms, AMAs, pitch nights, or small community hangouts — without posting it publicly.
It’s a members-only event builder + invite system that keeps your event details private and gives you control over who can see it and who can RSVP.
Why it’s a member benefit
Public event platforms are noisy and spammy. This feature is designed to be:
- Private by default (not indexed, not visible to the public)
- Member-gated (only paid members can create or view, depending on settings)
- Targeted (you can invite specific people, not everyone)
- Built into your membership (no extra apps or group chats required)
How it works (member flow)
- Go to “Create Private Party”
- Found in your Member Dashboard (or Events page).
- Fill in event details
- Title, date/time, timezone, location (in-person or online), short description.
- Optional: cover image, agenda, links, “what to bring,” etc.
- Choose who can access it (privacy options)
You can set the party to one of these:- Invite-only (only people you invite can see it)
- Send invites
- Invite by email or messenger manually, we just give you the invite link to share.
- The system creates a private invite link that’s not public.
- Guests RSVP
- Invitees can RSVP Yes/No/Maybe.
- The host can set a max capacity, waitlist, and RSVP deadline.
- Event day tools
- Optional check-in (QR or simple “I’m here” button)
- Optional attendee list for hosts (useful for door check, Zoom list, etc.)
- After the event
- Host can post a recap, share links/resources, and optionally schedule the next one.
What stays private
Private parties are designed not to leak:
- Not shown to non-members
- Not indexed by search engines
- Not visible in public calendars
- Invite link access can be limited to invited accounts/wallets
Controls that hosts get
- Edit / reschedule / cancel
- Limit seats + waitlist
- Approve RSVPs (optional)
- Hide location until RSVP (optional)
- Invite management (add/remove invitees anytime)
Examples (so members instantly “get it”)
- “Friday Night Token Talk” — invite-only hangout for your close circle
- “Members Pitch Night” — Tier 3+ only, limited to 20 RSVPs
- “Conference Meetup” — location hidden until RSVP to avoid random drop-ins
